1. Introduction

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of all services operated by Terry B.V., including the mobile application (“Terry App”), the website (https://terry.earth), and browser extensions (“Terry Impact Reminder”).

By using Terry, you agree to these Terms, as well as to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using our services.

Terry B.V. is a private limited liability company registered in the Netherlands (KvK 98707035 | RSIN 868607885), with its registered address at Amsterdamsevaart 24, 2032 EB Haarlem, The Netherlands.

2. Use of the Platform

You may use Terry’s services for personal, lawful, and non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Attempt to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of the platform.

• Interfere with its security or functionality.

• Use the services in any way that could harm Terry, our partners, or other users.

Terry may suspend or terminate access to users who misuse the platform or violate these Terms.

3. Affiliate Model and Donations

Terry enables users to support ecological projects (“Missions”) through purchases from partner brands. When you make a purchase through a partner link, Terry may receive an affiliate commission from the retailer or its affiliate network.

In this document, the term “donation” refers to the share of affiliate commissions that Terry allocates to ecological Missions. These are not charitable donations under Dutch or EU tax law.

Terry allocates a share of each commission (typically 50%) to the ecological Missions featured on the platform and retains the remaining share to sustain operational, technological, and administrative costs.

Terry does not collect direct payments or donations from users. Commissions are earned through affiliate networks and distributed in accordance with our internal operational policies and the Terms of Participation for Ecological Missions.

Ecological Missions featured on the platform participate under separate Terms of Participation, available upon request or at terry.earth.

4. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, text, graphics, logos, and software on Terry are the property of Terry B.V. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use any part of Terry’s content for commercial purposes without written permission.

5. Disclaimer

Terry strives to ensure that all content and partner links are accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that:

• All partner offers or retailer information are correct, current, or available.

• The platform will always operate without interruption or error.

Terry is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terry B.V. is not responsible for any indirect or unforeseen damages resulting from errors, interruptions, or unavailability of the platform. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.

7. Account and Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at hello@terry.earth.

8. Browser Extension Use

When you install or use the Terry Impact Reminder extension:

• It checks whether the websites you visit are partner retailers to display relevant information.

• It does not collect or read personal content, passwords, or unrelated browsing history.

• Technical data (e.g., partner URL, timestamp, anonymized user ID) is processed only to enable affiliate tracking and impact attribution.

You can uninstall the extension anytime from your browser settings.

9. Termination of Service

Terry may suspend or terminate any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance, improvement, or legal reasons.

Users can stop using the service at any time.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. You agree that any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts in Amsterdam.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically. The latest version will always be available on https://terry.earth with the effective date shown above.
